Ello!!! I've been up for the last few hours doing last minute preparation for the new merchandise I'm adding to the store tonight. Do I want sleep? Of Course! Could I go for a grande,double shot,2 pumps of vanilla,extra hot caramel macchiato?..Of Course! Q:What's your real name?

A: haha! I knew that would be my #1 question. My name is Najiyyah pronounced (Na-g-ah) it's arabic and it means "safe"...

Q:What inspires you?

A: Everything..I say that alot because I am inspired everyday by people,nature,tv,the internet etc..

Q:How did you and Sammy meet? And How long have you been together..

A: Sammy and I have known each other since high school. But, we've only been together for a short while 7 months.

Q: Where did you get the name Cali?

A:5 yrs ago from my friend who called me HOLLYWOOD! I told him to stop calling me that so he said "ok,well,I'll call you cali.. It just stuck to me up until now lol

Q:Who is your favorite designer?

A: Ummm that's so hard to choose because I have many... I would have to say Betsey Johnson. Because I have loved her for about 7 yrs now.

Q:What kind of phone do you have?

A: Blackberry and I will never trade it in..#TEAMBLACKBERRY FOREVERRRRR!! :p

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

A: I see myself married with a family working on building my brand.. I hope to have my boutique and working on creating a chain of them..

A: I met a videographer last year named Don napolen. He told me that blogging could open up alot of doors for a person in the fashion industry. At the time I wanted to be a stylist so I tried it and fell in love.Still working on blogging consistently though lol

A: Thrift stores,vintage shops, H&M and Soho,NY there are so many cute shops I swear I spend all my money there.

Q:Are you a collector?

A: I collect Vogue Magazines from all over. I just started this but I can't stop and Im running out of places to store them.. HELP!!! lol

Q: You are so funny. Have you ever wanted to take up acting like doing comedy?

A: Me? funny? no way jose!! lol j/k Actually, I have, but I never pursued it. Always have been a thought in the back of my mind.

I've grown a love for Vintage Pin Up Girls.I think it's the most beautiful and glamorous display of femininity! Ive always wanted to do a pin up shoot but too many people have done it and my fascination for it has fallen a bit flat..Here are a few of my favorites from Gil Elvgren,the greatest pin-up artist in the history of American Illustration. A Starbucks Fix

Sunday fever!! Hiyaaaa Guys!!! I need to post more. I love blogging it makes me happy. I take loads of photos throughout the day and just store them on my computer when I can add them on here. (Making a personal note to blog more) How are you guys? I hope everything is going swell!! I have to tell you all my new favorite drink at my favorite place in the whole wide world,STARBUCKS!!!! I was skeptical about trying the new mocha coconut Frapp, but after standing in line for 10 minutes debating I finally decided to try it. OMG!!! It's freakin amazing! Pure Heaven I tell ya..If you haven't tried it yet, you must.

I changed my hair a bit. It's curly now. Oh, and I love bows. They are both kinda my "thing" right now. Everything is slowly changing and I like it!

A H.O.T Cali Tale

Hiya!!! I've received a few emails from readers wondering if Sammy, was indeed a photographer. To answer the F.A.Q lol He is not a photographer, he takes photos for my blog as a favor and as a Grrrreat boyfriend. Sammy is a videographer/director as well as an actor. Although he takes awesome photos, film is what his heart desires. I admire my boyfriend so much. From his work ethic to his creativity down to the way he supports me 1,000,000% He is such a good person and I am so proud and truly blessed to have a man as good as him. I've never met a person so driven and so focused. He is a go-getter and he's not allowing anything come between fulfilling his dream. I commend him for being that young and motivated. Sammy is in the process of starting his own production company called THE HOUSE OF TARANTINO. He's doing an extraordinary job building an empire as I like to call it. I know he will go far because he has the passion and he's on the right track!

I wish I could of set up a Q & A video for you guys so you can get to know him and myself. Matter of fact, I shall do that later on this week. That would be pretty cool! So be on the look out for that. With that being said now you know a little about my dearest sammy lol. You've Got A Hold On Me

Hiiiiiii Guysssss!!! I'm on super delay with my post these days. I've been busy with my store and looking for an apartment. Lot's of work! Anyway, I managed to sneak away for 30 minutes to put together this post and drink some Green Tea with a macaroon of course haha!! Here are a few photos from yesterday whilst preparing for another lookbook in the park with Sammy. This very chic 1980's dress is absolutely my favorite dress in my store right now...It's a mini dress and with sleeves, double breasted, along with a belt! Wah La! Right up my alley!! It's cotton and very light Perfect for this type of weather. STORE NOW OPEN!!!!

Happy Sunday and ba da da da It's the first of month!! You know what that means right??? CHAI TEA VINTAGE is now open for business. Only a few items up for sell right now. I'll explain that in a later post, but anywho, the main focus was to have my store open by May 1st and I DID IT!!! Thanks to my Sammy so I might as well say WE DID IT!! I love this boy more than ever. He's so supportive and a great life partner to have. Yes, I call him my life partner. (don't judge me) lol I swear I put him through HELL and back these past few weeks. He managed to not kill me! Whew!! lol This was indeed alot of work but we really did it!! #WINNING #VICTORY... I'm sorry for the hashtags but, dude, I'm HAPPY!!!!!!!
