Cali's "Wedding" Dress

I stumbled across this dress in a corner of a consignment shop; it was under a rack full of jeans (weird I know). I instantly fell in love with it and didn’t care how much it costs it would be mine...Although it's not your typical wedding dress I will turn it into a very special one. Who knows maybe I’ll sell it after I “put my magic touch on it” lol My brain is flooding with tons of ideas. I can’t wait to shoot with it. Stay tuned Vintage lovers! :)

I'm planning a number of big shoots for the New Year, I will be needing new models, designers, mua's and hairstylist. Are you ready for a new year with fresh ideas and new concepts? I sure Am! Hey you strangers!! Where have I been? That indeed the question I ask myself everyday. Hmmm Believe it or not I've been pretty busy. Chai Tea Vintage

Hey you guys!!!!!!!

I've been M.I.A all September, I know I suck! lol I've been eating potatoes drinking coffee, measuring clothes, buying vintage, shooting models, u know the regular… I'm in the process of re-launching my site and I am more than excited to show you guys the new layout. It was suppose to launch on 9-29 however, transferring domains was not an easy process. Although it says it’s a piece of cake it really wasn’t. Anyhow, it’s coming along and soooo much better than my last one. Also, the store has a new look as well. Oh goody!! This week it will definitely be up. I know I am always hyper for these types of things.

In other news it's October and my 1 yr anniversary with my "life partner" Sammy is coming up OMG!!!!!!!! Even more explanation points and smiley faces. This is what true love looks like to me :) :) :) :) :) :) :) YAY!!!!!!!!!!! <<<< Yes, I’m there borderline crazy gal. lol

SEPTEMBER FEVER!!

Hey Guys!! The past 5 days have been FANTASTIC! I've managed to come across some cool vtg finds and work with pretty amazing people. On Saturday, Ricky and I had a shoot with beautiful model AMBER NEALON. She was so pleasant and very sweet. We had an awesome time shooting. Here are a few pics from amber's shoot. Yesterday we had the pleasure of working with (THE DREAM TEAM) as I like to call them. Three beautiful and extremely talented and creative females. Fab make up artist KOKO GUERRA , fab stylist KIA DENISE and fab hair stylist DOMINIQUE NICOLE , When I tell you these girls play no games I'm soo serious. Please take some time out to check out their work. Some people ask why I chose another stylist to work on this shoot and I say why not? I love meeting new people and working with creative minds and I thought kia would be perfect for the job and I also wanted to meet the trio and watch them work. Here are a few pics from that shoot which will also be featured on my new site.

I would like to thank everyone whom I worked with this weekend! You guys are phenomenal and I'm so happy the way the way the photographs turned out. Especially my hubbs Sammy! You are the best boyfriend in the world. No man could ever amount to you in a trillion years. Special shoutout to Models: Salena & Tracy for ROCKING the shoot yesterday!!! Chileeeeeeee!! Coming Soon!!

I'm super excited about the few projects I've been working on the past few weeks. One project is a few changes to my store which includes a Men's section and a under $15 section. My second project is adding to etsy as well. I am also trying to figure out what my logo will be for my store. I have a few sketches but I haven't decided as of yet. This weekend I have a few shoots I'm doing that will feature some of my garments and ACCESSORIES, yessss, finally!! I will also be adding vintage and vintage inspired accessories. Such a treat! My other project is huge, can't tell any details yet but I can't wait to reveal it to you guys..

Vintage Fashion

As much as I adore modern fashions I am such a vintage FREAK! I love everything from vinyls & turntables to muffs and cummerbunds lol. I think my heart is truly 60 years old and not 22! Below, I've chosen a few vintage streetstyle fashion for you all to check out and eventually fall in love with vintage! :) While looking for "Monday inspiration" awaiting 4pm (the time I get off) I stumbled across some photos from 1940's and came up with a shoot and short film idea. (Check back later for more on that) Looking at each elegant woman makes me wish I lived in the 40's and 50's when ladies wore dresses and skirts and shoes hats and all. The good times right??

A Sunny Sun Day

Ello earthlings! hahaha... This is my "Sunny Sunday look" lol. This past weekend was full of craziness and super exciting events. Idk why I'm starting with Sunday and not Friday. (Friiday,Friiday gotta get down on Friiday) oops! I'm seriously in such a jolly good mood. I love the summer so I tend to have outbursts like every hour. Get it? No? Good! :) jk No, today is a special day for Sammy and I and I'm just overwhelmed with joy....

Back to my post... Sunday, was a huge day for Sammy. He was one of the videographers at the Super Jam 2 concert in New Jersey. He got to meet someone whom has inspired us so much as future entrepreneurs. No other than "Sean Diddy Combs" How fuggin awesome is that? I am super jealous but at the same time so happy for Sammy, I know that opportunity will open sooo many doors for him and I'm right by his side cheering him on. (I'm his #1 fan) shhhh! ;) This is what I wore to drop him off... Blahh Blahh I wish I was there but I had a few things I had to get done for CTV. Sadly, because of my poor time management (I know I'm working on it) we could only snap 4 shots before we headed out and I only liked 2.... Bummer!
